In the end, Roxane realized Cyrano was the man she loved and she overlooked his physical appearance.

I share this classic tale with you to demonstrate the importance of communication.  People connect on levels much
deeper than appearance.

The theme of this blog: what you should and shouldn't say to men.  This is actually almost a riddle because when
you're with the right man, your words fall into place.  You don't have to worry what you should and shouldn't say.
You feel a calm in his presence.

So when you ponder what you should and shouldn't say to a man, maybe you should focus on not wasting your
words on the wrong one.

Cyrano DeBergerac is a classic character in French drama.  Parisian
playwright, Edmond Rostand, based the character on a real man.

Cyrano, from the play, was a nobleman in the 1600s who was serving as a
soldier.   He had the gift of poetry, yet just as romantic as he was, Cyrano
was equally unattractive.  He loved the beautiful and intelligent Roxane.
However, Roxane loved Christian, a handsome but unintelligent cadet in
Cyrano's unit.

Christian got Cyrano to write poems for him to give to Roxane.  The poems
said everything Cyrano felt, but Roxane thought Christian has written them.
The play has a climactic scene where Roxane stands on a balcony.  She
thinks Christian is talking to her, but Cyrano is actually the one who is
speaking to her heart from below.
